Hugh Jackman Pens Foreword for Gerard Schoenfeld Memoir Mr. Broadway

Tony Award winner Hugh Jackman has penned the foreword for Gerald Schoenfeld’s memoir, Mr. Broadway, which will be published by Applause Books in April 2012.

Schoenfeld, along with partner Bernie Jacobs, led the Shubert Organization, the largest and most important theatre owner on Broadway. The book’s stories include how they brought some of Broadway’s greatest hits to the stage, including A Chorus Line, Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, and many more.

The memoir was completed just one month prior to Schoenfeld’s death in 2008.
