The Off-Broadway engagement of Mark St. Germain’s Freud’s Last Session, currently at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater through October 2, will transfer to New World Stages, with performances re-starting on October 7.

Suggested by the bestselling book The Question of God by Dr. Armand M. Nicholi, Jr., Freud’s Last Session centers on an encounter between Sigmund Freud and C.S. Lewis just weeks before Freud chooses to take his own life.

Mark H. Dold and Martin Rayner portray Lewis and Freud, respectively. Tyler Marchant has directed the production.

The creative team includes Brian Prather (scenic design), Mark Mariani (costume design), Clifton Taylor (lighting design), and Beth Lake (sound design).
