Tony Award winner David Hyde Pierce has been cast in the Vineyard Theatre’s Developmental Lab Production of The Landing (previously titled Andra), a collection of three related one-act musicals by John Kander and Greg Pierce, which will debut in Spring 2012.

The production, which is open only to Vineyard Theatre members, will be directed by Scott Ellis, with David Loud as musical director. Additional casting and creative team will be announced shortly.

Pierce won the Tony Award for Curtains and has also appeared on Broadway in Monty Python’s Spamalot, La Bete and Accent on Youth. This fall, he will star in Manhattan Theatre Club’s Off-Broadway production of Close Up Space and will direct the George Street Playhouse production of It Shoulda Been You. He is best known for his Emmy Award-winning work as Niles Crane on TV’s Frasier.
