David Henry Hwang Set for September 9 Post-Show Discussion of Invasion!

Tony Award winning-playwright David Henry Hwang will moderate a discussion of the play Invasion! at the Flea Theater following the Friday, September 9 performance. He will be joined by the show’s playwright Jonas Hassen Khemiri and director Erica Schmidt.

The play, which runs through October 1, focuses on a set of interlocking stories in which a variety of characters with the name Abulkasem appear. The production was originally presented by the Play Company at Walkerspace earlier this year.

The company will feature original cast members Francis Benhamou, Andrew Guilarte, and Bobby Moreno, along with Nick Choksi.

There will also be post-show discussions on September 26 featuring cast members of In the Cypher, and on September 28, featuring Hina Shamsi, Director of The ACLU’s National Security Project.
