The Acting Company has announced the line-up for Write-On!, a series of new plays written by Acting Company alumni, to be performed as staged readings at Theatre Row, October 3-November 7.

Selections will include Zack Fine’s Walled In, part fantasy, part mythology and part clown-show inspired by Thoreau’s Walden, directed by Diane Buirski (October 3); Andrew Weems’ Damascus, a story of a trip to a beautiful place, directed by Ian Belknap (October 10); Peter Macklin’s A Beautiful Building, which focuses on a priest, an actor and a long-ago affair, directed by Francesca Zambello (October 17); and Matthew Hoverman’s Searching for God in Suburbia a supernatural comedy about life on the edge, directed by David Kennedy (October 31).

In addition to these new works, Derek Smith will direct Tennessee Williams’ The Two Character Play, a clamorous outcry from isolation, panic and fear (November 7).
