Carnegie Hall Notables, a membership and ticket program for music enthusiasts in their 20s and 30, will host a special performance of A. R. Gurney’s play Love Letters starring Renée Fleming and Alec Baldwin, at 7:30pm on Thursday, November 17 at Zankel Hall. The piece will be directed by Mark Lamos.

Love Letters traces the lifelong correspondence of the staid, dutiful lawyer Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and the lively, unstable artist Melissa Gardner. Their bittersweet relationship gradually unfolds from what is written — and what is left unsaid — in their letters.

Carnegie Hall’s Notables benefits the music education and community programs created by Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute. There will be a special post-party after the performance.

Tickets are only available to Notables members or those willing to become Notables members through their contribution to this event. For more information, please contact the Notables office at 212-903-9734 or email notables@carnegiehall.org.
