Stephen Bogardus, Carter Calvert, Stephanie Umoh et al. Set for York’s Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda

Stephen Bogardus, Carter Calvert, Lawrence Clayton, Delius Doherty, Harriet D. Foy, Max Quinlan, James Stovall, and Stephanie Umoh will star in York Theatre Company’s developmental lab staging of Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda: A Jazz Musical Comedy, featuring music by Hal Schaefer with book and lyrics by Bob Larimer.

Miram Fond will direct the performance, which will be presented at the Theatre at Saint Peter’s on Thursday, September 23 at 7:30pm and Friday, September 24 at 3pm.

Set in the year 1980, the piece is about a secret love affair between a white man and a black woman, and what ensues when they decide to break the news to their conservative middle class parents that they’re going to be married.
