Russell Brand, Michael Feinstein, Gregory Maguire, Marlo Thomas, et al. to Appear at NYC Barnes & Noble Stores

Barnes & Noble has announced the preliminary October line-up of celebrity appearances for its New York City stores.

The Lincoln Triangle store (Broadway and 66th Street) will host author Stephen Michael Shearer (October 1, 7:30pm); author Joyce Carol Oates (October 4, 7:30pm), comedian Mike Birbiglia (October 12, 7:30pm); author Oscar Andrew Hammerstein (October 14, 7:30pm), singer Michael Feinstein (October 18, 5pm); and actress Marlo Thomas (October 25, 7:30pm).

The Union Square Store (33 East 17th Street) will host author Michael Cunningham (October 5, 7pm); author Neil Gaiman (October 7, 7pm), actor Russell Brand (October 13, 7pm); singer Ben Folds and author Nick Hornsby (October 14, 7pm); author Greil Marcus (October 18, 7pm); and actor Judah Friedlander (October 19, 7pm).

Also on tap next month are appearances by singer Rick Springfield (Fifth Avenue and 46th Street; October 12, 12:30pm); Today co-host Hota Kodb (97 Warren Street; October 13, 7pm); Kat Von D (Fifth Avenue and 46th Street; October 26, 12:30pm), and Wicked author Gregory Maguire (Broadway and 82nd Street; October 28, 7pm).
