Reeve Carney, who will star as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the upcoming Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, will premiere a new song from the musical, along with his band Carney, on Good Morning America on Friday, September 10.

The musical features music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge of the band U2, and a book by director Julie Taymor and Glen Berger. Drawing from more than 40 years of Marvel comic books for inspiration, the show spins a new take on the mythic tale of Peter Parker, a teenager whose unremarkable life in Queens is turned upside-down when he’s bitten by a genetically-altered spider and wakes up the next morning clinging to the ceiling.

The appearance on the television program will feature interviews with Bono and The Edge, live via satellite from their European tour, as well as Taymor.

The public is invited to be part of the live audience, and to hear additional music from the musical. Audience members should arrive beginning at 6:30am to the Hudson Theatre, located in the Millennium Broadway hotel at 145 West 44th Street between Broadway and 6th Avenue.
