Charles Busch, Julie Halston and four-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald were among the stars that attended performances of TWEED Fractured Classic’s Rasinettes in the Sunshine to benefit the HOWL! Arts Festival, which took place on Friday, September 17 and Saturday, September 18 at Theatre 80.

Written by Stephen Pell and directed by Kevin Malony, Raisinettes featured Clark Beasley, Rosa Currie, Flotilla DeBarge, Kyle Grooms, David Ilku, and Jodi Lennon.

Busch and Halston are currently starring in Busch’s new play, The Divine Sister, running at The Soho Playhouse.

As previously announced, McDonald will be headlining one of Carnegie Hall‘s gala concerts next spring. She stars on ABC’s Private Practice.

The HOWL! Festival continues through September 29 with other productions such as David Caudle’s The Sunken Living Room (September 25 & 26) and Marc Blitzstein’s The Cradle Will Rock (September 28 & 29).
