Jeff Achtem’s interactive shadow puppet comedy, Sticks, Stones, Broken Bones will play a limited engagement at the Barrow Street Theatre, running October 14-23. Achtem serves as writer and performer of the piece.

In the show, which was named Best Newcomer at the 2010 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Achtem transforms bits of household junk into surreal shadow puppets.

Over the last decade Achtem, as Mr. Bunk, his acclaimed street performance character, has played in festivals and theaters in around the world.

Along with the regular run of Sticks, Stones, Broken Bones, there will be a special children’s show on Saturday morning, October 23 at 11am, which will be followed by an interactive shadow puppet workshop where kids and adults will be able to learn and bring to life their own shadow characters out of ordinary objects.
