Francis Jue, Telly Leung, Jose Llana, Paolo Montalban, et al. Set for Long Season Reading

Casting has been announced for a free staged reading of Chay Yew and Fabian Obispo's Long Season, to be offered on September 16 at noon at Roy Arias Studio. Peter DuBois will direct the performance, which is being offered as part of the Huntington Theatre Company's Breaking Ground reading series.

Set in 1920s Alaska, the musical follows a pivotal year in the life of a young Filipino migrant worker.

The company will feature Telly Leung, Jose Llana, Theresa McCarthy, Billy Bustamante, Francis Jue, Mel Sargrado Maghuyop, Orville Mendoza, Paolo Montalban, Emily Morales, Nicky Paraiso, George E. Salazar, Chris-Ian Sanchez, and Rodney To.
