Broadway veterans Kevin Kline, Diane Keaton, and Elisabeth Moss will star in Darling Companion, according to a report in Variety. Lawrence Kasdan, who’s co-written the movie with Meg Kasdan, will direct the movie.

The film focuses on a woman (played by Keaton), who loves her dog more than her husband (Kline). Unfortunately, the husband loses the dog after a wedding at the couple’s vacation home in the Rockies.

Kline earned Tony Awards for his performances in On the Twentieth Century and The Pirates of Penzance and earned a Tony Award nomination for his portrayal of Falstaff in Henry IV at Lincoln Center Theater. He won an Academy Award for his performance in A Fish Called Wanda.

Keaton earned a Tony Award nomination for her performance in Woody Allen’s Play It Again, Sam and was seen in the original Broadway company of Hair. For her film work, she has won an Oscar for her portrayal of the title character in Annie Hall, and was nominated for three others for Reds, Marvin’s Room, and Something’s Gotta Give.

Moss, who has received two Emmy nominations for her work on Mad Men, made her Broadway debut in David Mamet’s Speed-the-Plow.
