Billie Joe Armstrong, Gwyneth Paltrow, Denzel Washington, et al. Added to LIneup for Stand Up to Cancer Special

American Idiot co-writer Billie Joe Armstrong, Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow, and Tony and Oscar winner Denzel Washington have been added to the lineup of participants on next month’s Stand Up to Cancer TV special, according to TVGuide.com.

The one-hour show will be carried live on Friday, Sept. 10 at 8pm on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, Bio, Discovery Health, E!, G4, HBO, HBO Latino, MLB Network, mun2, Showtime, Smithsonian Channel, The Style Network, TV One and VH1. It will be hosted by Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer, and Brian Williams.

Other confirmed participants include the previously announced Christina Applegate, Abigail Breslin, Fran Drescher, Sally Field, Michael C.
