American Idiot‘s Broadway Cast Set for Green Day Rock Band Challenge

The entire Broadway cast of American Idiot is expected to participate in a competition involving the Green Day: Rock Band video game at the Village Pourhouse (366 West 46th Street), on Wednesday, September 23 at 10pm.
Patrons will be able to compete against the cast members in playing the game. As previously reported, Green Day: Rock Band features 13 tracks from the Grammy Award-winning band’s American Idiot album, including “American Idiot,” “She’s a Rebel,” “Jesus of Suburbia,” “Wake Me Up When September Ends,” and “Are We the Waiting?” In addition, the game features songs from other Green Day albums, including “21 Guns” from 21st Century Breakdown.
The Broadway musical’s principal cast includes John Gallagher, Jr., Stark Sands, Michael Esper, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Christina Sajous, Mary Faber, and Tony Vincent.
