Related to Resume Construction of NYC Building with New Theaters

Related Cos. announced Tuesday that it will resume construction of its massive 1.2 million-square-foot mixed-use development at 440 West 42nd Street, which will include several theaters for non-profit groups, including Signature Theatre, to be designed by Frank Gehry, according to Crain’s New York.

The building – which sits on a site that once housed both the John Houseman Theatre and the Douglas Fairbanks Theatre — will also include a hotel, rental apartments, affordable units, condominium apartments, and retail space.
