Mark Morris to Direct Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead Workshop

Mark Morris will direct a public workshop of scenes from Herschel Garfein's new opera Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, adapted from the play by Tom Stoppard, to take place on Friday, November 20 and Saturday, November 21 at the Mark Morris Dance Center in Brooklyn. Keith Phares and Matthew Burns will star the title roles.

Morris, one of the world's foremost modern dance choreographers, has directed such operas as King Arthur and Platee, as well as the Broadway musical The Capeman.
