César award-winning stage and screen star Fabrice Luchini will bring his one-man show Le Point Sur Robert to New York at the French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) – Florence Gould Hall, October 7-8. The production is offered in French without subtitles.

Le Point Sur Robert blends troubadour verse with poetry, literary theory and more. Luchini’s script is both a personal memoir and an ode to master storytellers and writers such Paul Valéry, Roland Barthes, Chrétien de Troyes and Molière, all of whom are referenced in the piece and who have shaped Luchini’s vision and personal writing.

FIAF will offer a retrospective of his film work in the series The Rich and Sacred: The Language and the Art of Fabrice Luchini, which will run throughout the month of October.
