Michael O’Donnell’s Moving Mike to Premiere at Williamstown Film Festival

Michael O’Donnell, who currently stands by for five roles in the Broadway musical Monty Python’s Spamalot will debut the feature length film, Moving Mike — co-written (with Chris Rempfer) and directed by O’Donnell — at the 10th annual Williamstown Film Festival on Thursday October 18 at Noon.

The film is a contemporary urban comedy set in Manhattan and details the aftermath of Mike Kelly’s latest break-up. The cast, which includes a number of Broadway veterans, features Thomas Cannizzaro, Todd Gearhart, Capathia Jenkins, J. Elaine Marcos, Julio Monge, Sascha Radetsky, Eric Sciotto, and Billy Sprague Jr. The film features choreography by John MacInnis, an original score by J.J. McGeehan and costumes by Bruce Harrow and Dana Calanan.

O’Donnell, who also performed in the Las Vegas production of Spamalot, has also appeared on Broadway in The Pajama Game, Wonderful Town, Cabaret, Victor/Victoria and Carousel.
