Full Cast, Creative Team Set for Like You Like It at Gallery Players

Full cast and creative team information have been announced for Like You Like It: The Musical, Sammy Buck and Daniel S. Acquisto’s musical adaptation of Shakepeare’s As You Like It, running at The Gallery Players, October 18-November 2. Igor Goldin will direct, with music direction by Jeffrey Campos.

Set in 1985, Like You Like It centers Shakespeare’s comic love story around the days leading up to a high school dance hosted by the new local Arden mall. The cast will include Jeff Barba, Lena Moy-Bergen, Jennifer Blood, Trey Compton, Richard Connelly, Brynn Curry, Rebecca Dealy, Roy Flores, Nathan Johnson, André Jordan, Caitlyn Kent, Michael Lowney, Alison Luff, Clint Morris, Elisabeth Ness, Lance Olds, Hollis Scarborough, and Carly Vernon.

The creative team will include Keith Andrews (choreography), Dan Jobbins (lighting design), Hunter Kaczorowski (costume design), and Carl Tallent (set design).

The company will present A Tuna Christmas (December 6-21), the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie (January 31-February 22), William Inge’s classic drama Bus Stop (March 14-29), about an aspiring nightclub singer who’s kidnapped by a romantic cowboy, and The Who’s Tommy (May 2-24), based on the legendary album from the rock supergroup about a deaf, dumb, and blind young man who gains fame as a pinball player.
