The original cast of Warren Leight's Tony Award-winning play Side Man -- Edie Falco, Kevin Geer, Michael Mastro, Robert Sella, Joseph Lyle Taylor, Angelica Torn, and Frank Wood -- will reunite for a special staged reading work of the work at 7pm on Monday, November 10 at New World Stages. The reading, to be directed by Michael Mayer, will benefit Opening Act, a nonprofit organization that provides free after-school theater to New York City high schools.

The show, which began life Off-Broadway in 1998 before moving to the Golden Theatre, is a memory play about the family and friends of an unhappy jazz musician. Wood won the Best Featured Actor Tony for his work as Gene.

Tickets range from $100-$1,000 and can be ordered by visiting www.openingactnewyork.org.
