Joe’s Pub has added more stars to its October lineup, in honor of the club’s 10th anniversary.

Its new Ghostlight Series, in conjunction with Ghostlight Records, will be held Monday nights at 11:30pm. On October 6, composer Tom Kitt will be joined by special guests including Brooks Ashmanskas, Jenn Colella, Gavin Creel, Julia Murney, Kelli O’Hara, Billy Porter, and Aaron Tveit. On October 13, Michael Winther and other special guests will perform a concert version of Songs from an Unmade Bed, and October 20, there will be a special appearance by the mock-rock group The Petersons.

As previously reported, Tony Award nominee Judy Kuhn will return on October 6-7 to perform Serious Playground: The Songs of Laura Nyro, based on her CD of the same name, while theater star Michael Arden will sing Joni Mitchell’s legendary CD Blue, October 28-30.

In addition, the Pub will host a gala tribute to singer Judy Collins, which will be held at the Public Theater on October 10, hosted by DJ Pete Fornatale and featuring the singer along with such special guests as Rufus Wainwright, Shawn Colvin, and Jimmy Webb. The concert will also be preceded by a dinner at Chinatown Brasserie.

The Pub will also offer 10 free concerts under the moniker 10 for the 10th, which will include The Stew Songbook (October 12 at 9:30pm) featuring Penny Arcade, John Cameron Mitchell, and Michael Cerveris, performing the work of the Tony Award-winning writer of Passing Strange, and Be In: A Night of Music and Love, featuring cast members from the Public’s current production of Hair (October 13 at 12:30am). Other free concerts will feature Raul Midon, Jill Sobule, Imani Izuri, Allen Toussaint, Roy Nathanson with special guest Debbie Harry, and Reggie Watts.

Also on October 13, at 9:30pm, theater collective Les Freres Corbusier will present a concert version of its musical Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, by Michael Friedman and Alex Timbers, which made its world premiere in Los Angeles earlier this year.
