Champlin, Donnell, Hansen, Osnes, Stanek, et al, to Star in Pride and Prejudice

Full casting has been announced for the one-night performance of Lindsay Warren Baker and Amanda Jacobs’ musical Pride and Prejudice, to play Rochester’s Eastman Theatre on October 21. The production, which is being targeted for Broadway in Fall 2009, will be directed by Mark Lamos.

As previously announced Donna Lynne Champlin will play Jane Austen and Colin Donnell will play Mr. Darcy. The cast will also include Laura Osnes as Elizabeth Bennet, Juliana Ashley Hansen as Jane Bennet, Mark Blum as Mr. Bennet, Patty Goble as Mrs. Bennet and Lady Catherine, Anne Letscher as Mary Bennet, Molly Ranson as Kitty Bennett, Jacque Carnahan as Lydia Bennet, Jim Stanek as Mr. Collins, John Behlman as Mr. Wickham, Rory O’Malley as Charles Bingley, and Jennifer Waiser as Charlotte Lucas.

The ensemble will feature Sarah Dacey Charles, Jonathan Michie, Kat Palardy, Jon Reinhold, Matthew Schneider, Michael Scott, Libby Servais, Eric Ulloa, and Marguerite Wilbanks. The show will also feature a 17-piece orchestra made up of members of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, with musical direction by Fred Lassen.

The creative team includes Suzuki MacAdams (sets), Lynn Bowling (costumes), Dale Knoth (lighting), and Scott Stauffer (sound).
