Behind the Emerald Curtain, the popular 90-minute backstage tour of the Broadway musical Wicked, will continue on Saturday mornings at 10am at the Gershwin Theatre, beginning on September 27.

The tour includes a 20-minute film, a visit to a special “Behind the Emerald Curtain” museum, which includes an elaborate model of Eugene Lee’s set, an up-close look at the show’s costumes, wigs, and props, and a question-and-answer session with current cast members.

This fall’s tours will feature Norbert Leo Butz and Michele Federer, who created the roles of Fiyero and Nessarose on September 27; they replace previously announced guest Eden Espinosa, whose appearance will be rescheduled to a future date.

Christopher Fitzgerald, who originated the role of Boq in the Broadway production, will appear on October 11, and Gregory Maguire, author of the novel Wicked, will appear on October 25.
