Berman, Noll, White, et al. to Perform in Bryant Park

Broadway stars Christiane Noll and Lilllas White will join pianist Constantine Kitsopoulous, opera singer Martin Sola, violinist Sara Caswell, and members of the New York Pops in Bryant Park to perform The Bernstein Songbook as part of the free New York Now in Bryant Park series of concerts at 5:30pm on Thursday, October 2. The concert will be a preview of a larger concert with these artists to be held on Friday, October 17 at Carnegie Hall as part of the city-wide Bernstein: The Best of All Possible Worlds celebration.

The Bryant Park series will also include two concerts by young artists from the Metropolitan Opera on September 30 and October 8 at 5:30pm, and by New York City Opera on October 1 and October 6 at 5:30pm.

The latter concerts will feature music from such Broadway shows and operettas as Naughty Marietta, Show Boat, Kismet, Candide, and The Most Happy Fella and feature such artists as Lielle Berman, Heather Johnson, Krysty Swann, Andrew Drost, Eric Jordan, Matthew Burns, and Michael Chioldi.
