Houdyshell, Morton, Murray, et al. Set for Project Shaw One-Acts

Matthew Arkin, Patricia Conolly, Jayne Houdyshell, Charlotte Moore, Euan Morton, and Brian Murray will star in Project Shaw‘s staged reading of George Bernard Shaw’s one-act plays, Passion, Poison, and Petrification and Press Cuttings at 7pm on Monday, October 22 at the Players’ Club (16 Gramercy Park South). The reading will be produced and directed by David Staller and hosted by Village Voice writer Michael Musto.

Passion, Poison, and Petrification, written in 1905, is a comedy involving murder, sex, betrayal, finance, and seltzer; Press Cuttings, written in 1909, converses a Prime Minister in drag, a conservative general out of control, and some very determined women.
