Bebe Neuwirth and Kathleen Turner will headline a free staged reading of Henri Becque’s The Vultures, to take place at 8pm at Florence Gould Hall (55 East 59th Street). The reading, which is part of Crossing the Line: FIAF Fall Festival, will be directed by Obie Award-winner Jim Simpson.

The little-known 19th-century play concerns an otherwise peaceful family who end up fighting like animals over money when the father dies unexpectedly.

The cast will also feature Annie Parisse, Maria Dizzia, James Waterston, Sarah Silk, Jacqueline Chambord, Ron Faber, Gerry Bamman, Mark Zeisler, Jaime Robert Carillo, James Blanshard, Drew Hildebrand, and Barnett Cohen.

Reservations are required. Call 646-388-6681.
