Jim Stanek to Replace Drew Sarich in Jacques Brel

Jim Stanek will replace Drew Sarich in the Off-Broadway revival of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris at the Zipper Theatre. Stanek will begin performances on Monday, October 9; Sarich is leaving the show to appear in the upcoming Broadway return of Les Misérables.

Stanek and Sarich appeared together earlier this year on Broadway in Lestat; Stanek’s other Broadway credits include A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Rivals, Little Women, and Indiscretions. Off-Broadway, he has been seen in such shows as Slut, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, and Captains Courageous. His regional credits include My Fair Lady at the McCarter Theater, The Threepenny Opera at Williamstown, and Thoroughly Modern Millie at the La Jolla Playhouse.

The cast of Jacques Brel includes Robert Cuccioli, Natascia Diaz, and Gay Marshall, all of whom have been with the show since it began performances in spring 2006. The production team includes Robert Bissinger (set design ), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), Mattie Ullrich (costume design), and Peter Fitzgerald (sound design).
