Tony Award winner Jane Krakowski and country music superstar Barbara Mandrell will host the second annual Broadway Meets Country benefit concert, slated to begin at 7:30pm on Monday, October 30 at the James K. Polk Theatre at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville. Proceeds from the concert will aid TPAC’s educational programs and The Actors’ Fund of America.

The concert will feature Broadway stars Laura Bell Bundy, Michael Cerveris, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Brian d’Arcy James, Julia Murney, and cast members from the national tour of The Lion King, along with country music favorites Josh Gracin, Raul Malo, Lorrie Morgan, Jamie O’Neal, SHeDAISY, Lee Ann Womack, and Trisha Yearwood. As at last year’s event, the Broadway performers will sing their favorite country tunes and the country singers will perform musical theater selections. Stephen Oremus will be the show’s musical director and arranger.

Krakowski won the Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her role as Carla in the Broadway revival of Nine, an Olivier Award for Guys & Dolls, and a Tony nomination for Grand Hotel. She is well-known to TV viewers for her role as Elaine in Ally McBeal and is co-starring in the new NBC sitcom 30 Rock. Mandrell has won over 75 music awards, including the Country Music Association’s “Entertainer of the Year,” during her four-decade singing career and has appeared on numerous television shows and specials.

Tickets for the event range in price from $35 to $500 and will go on sale to the public on September 15. For information, visit www.tpac.org.
