James Barbour to Star in L.A. Benefit Concert

Broadway star James Barbour will perform a benefit concert for the Los Angeles-based theatre company Open at the Top at 8pm on Saturdays September 23 and 30 at the NoHo Arts Center in North Hollywood. The evening will feature musical direction by Jeff Rizzo.

Barbour is currently appearing at the NoHo Arts Center in the new musical Lizard, and he was previously seen there in The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, for which he received an Ovation Award nomination. Last year, he played Lancelot in the Hollywood Bowl’s concert version of Camelot opposite Jeremy Irons. His Broadway credits include Beauty and the Beast, Assassins, Jane Eyre, Urinetown, and Carousel. He is expected to return to Broadway as Sydney Carton in A Tale of Two Cities.
