The play, which is set in the not-too-distant future, concerns Alice, a drama lecturer at a faith-based state university in the Midwest, and one of her students, Dexter, who become embroiled in the discovery of a play by A.R. Gurney. When the authorities destroy the script, these two must piece together the play. Gurney's other work at the Flea -- all directed by Simpson -- includes O Jerusalem, Mrs. Farnsworth, and Screen Play. The show's creative team includes Mimi Lien (sets), Claudia Brown (costumes), and Brian Aldous (lighting).
