Campbell, Cooper, Garafalo, et al. Set for SpeakEasy at Joe’s Pub

Jessica Blank, Amelia Campbell, Kathleen Chalfant, Chuck Cooper, Janeane Garafolo, Judith Hawking, Antoinette LaVecchia, and Jeremy Schwartz will be among the artists participating in SpeakEasy, the inaugural event of the newly-formed theater company The Fire Dept. It will be performed at 9:30pm on October 22, 23, and 24 at Joe’s Pub (425 Lafayette Street).

SpeakEasy has been written by company members Rob Ackerman, Suzanne Bradbeer, Anton Dudley, Brian Keith Jackson, Rajiv Joseph, Laurence Klavan, Carson Kreitzer, Neil LaBute, Edwin Sanchez, Theresa Rebeck, Sheri Wilner.

The show’s music will be by Stefania De Kenessey and Nick Hallett. The piece will be staged environmentally by Erica Gould, who co-founded the company with Blank and Audrey Rosenberg. Additional participants will be announced shortly.
