Kathleen Turner and Robert Cuccioli will make cameo appearances in The Actors’ Fund of America’s benefit concert presentation of On the Twentieth Century on Monday, September 26 at the New Amsterdam Theater.

As previously reported, the event will star Marin Mazzie as Lily Garland, Douglas Sills as Oscar Jaffe, Joanne Worley as Letitia Primrose, Brooks Ashmanskas as Owen O’Malley, Brad Oscar as Oliver Webb, and Christopher Sieber as Bruce Granit. It will also feature a special appearance by original Altar Boyz Cheyenne Jackson, Andy Karl, Tyler Maynard, and David Josefsberg.

Seth Rudetsky, who conceived and music-directed the four previous Actors’ Fund benefit concerts, will return as musical director for the evening. The show will be directed by Peter Flynn and will feature choreography by Denis Jones; the design team includes Paul Weimer (sets), Rob Bevenger (costumes), and Jeff Croiter (lighting).

Turner, who will play Imelda Thornton, received a 2005 Tony Award nomination for her performance in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? Cuccioli, who will play the Doctor, is best known for playing the title role(s) in the Broadway musical Jekyll & Hyde.

On The Twentieth Century, with music by Cy Coleman and book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, is an adaptation of the classic Ben Hecht-Charles MacArthur comedy Twentieth Century. It tells the story of a down-on-his-luck film producer who is trying to woo back his former paramour, now a major movie star.

Tickets to the Actors’ Fund benefit range in price from $75 to $2,500. For more information or to purchase tickets, phone 212-221-7300, ext. 133 or visit www.actorsfund.org for information.
