The Jewish National Fund will present its annual Tree of Life Award to actress/producer Jana Robbins on Monday, September 26 at its Razzle Dazzle New York Dinner at the Rainbow Room.

Robbins’ acting credits include the Broadway productions of Good News, I Love My Wife, Romance/Romance, and Gypsy (in which she played Mazeppa and was standby to star Tyne Daly). Most recently, she starred in the Broadway and National Tour productions of Charles Busch’s The Tale of the Allergist Wife, and has toured the country with her cabaret act One Hell of a Ride: The Songs of Cy Coleman. In addition, Robbins was one of the producers of the Broadway musical Little Women.

The JNF benefit will also honor world chess champion Susan Polgar and Teri Weiss, a vice-president at Nickolodeon. The benefit will include performances by Broadway stars, and proceeds will support the JNF’s many projects in Israel.
