Arden, Baldwin, Chase, Luker, Watkins to Sing Songs by Sam

Michael Arden, Kate Baldwin, Will Chase, Rebecca Luker, and Amanda Watkins will be the guest stars for Songs by Sam: The Music of Sam Davis at Joe’s Pub at 7pm on Sunday, October 23. The show will be directed by Mark Waldrop and produced by Glenn Seven Allen. Musical direction will be by Grant Weanus, who will lead a five-piece band.
Davis is the winner of the Jonathan Larson Award and a founding member of the New Voices Collective. He contributed to the Chef’s Theater series at the Supper Club, and was musical director of the Drama Dept.’s production of Free to Be You and Me.
His songs have been performed by Audra McDonald, Gavin Creel, and William Bolcom and Joan Morris. Among the lyricists he has worked with are Mark Campbell, Sean Hartley, Alisa Klein, Georgia Stitt, and William Youmans.
