Meet Jerry Herman at Coliseum Books on October 13

Jerry Herman, the award-winning Broadway composer and lyricist whose works for the stage include Hello, Dolly! and Mame, will appear at Coliseum Books (11 West 42nd Street, opposite Bryant Park) on Monday, October 13 from 6pm to 7pm to sign copies of the new book Jerry Herman: The Lyrics: A Celebration with co-author Ken Bloom.

The volume contains all of Herman’s lyrics, from his early work to his most popular successes, as well as rare production photos from various companies of his shows. Herman’s other shows include La Cage aux Folles, Milk and Honey, Mack and Mabel, Dear World, and The Grand Tour. He also wrote the score for the television musical Mrs. Santa Claus. Herman has been elected to the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Theater Hall of Fame, and the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
