Danny Aiello and Jeannie Berlin to Provide Adult Entertainment at the Variety Arts

Danny Aiello (who appeared on stage in The House of Blue Leaves, Gemini, etc., and co-starred in such movies as Moonstruck) and Jeannie Berlin (a film actress whose credits include Portnoy’s Complaint and The Heartbreak Kid) will star in Elaine May’s new Off-Broadway play Adult Entertainment, scheduled to open at the Variety Arts Theatre on Monday, December 2.

Stanley Donen, director of such famous film musicals as Singin’ in the Rain, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Funny Face, will direct the comedy about six members of the porn industry who tire of working for others and decide to make their own film.

Previews for Adult Entertainment begin on Friday, November 16. Tickets are $25-65 and will be available beginning October 14 through TeleCharge at 212-239-6200.
