MCC Theater has announced the selections in their 2014 PlayLabs reading series, which will take place in September and October at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

On September 15, John Pollono's new play Lost Girls will be read in a staging helmed by Jo Bonney. The drama follows a divorced couple that must join forces and come to terms with their past after their daughter steals their car during a blizzard.

Will Snider's How to Use a Knife, directed by Kareem Fahmy, will be read September 29. Set in a restaurant kitchen, the play follows an East African immigrant with a shocking past involving the Rwandan ethnic cleansing who's hiding out as a dishwasher as Immigration authorities catch up to him.

Shut Up When You Talk To Me, a new play by Stephen Belber directed by David Schwimmer, will be seen on October 6. The play explores a pair of friends from their idealistic youth to their sadder-but-wiser middle age.
