Daniel Sullivan's revival of William Shakespeare's King Lear celebrated its opening night at The Delacorte Theater in Central Park on August 5. The Public Theater's free Shakespeare in the Park production stars John Lithgow in the title role, with Annette Bening, Jessica Hecht, and Jessica Collins as Lear's daughters, Goneril, Regan, and Cordelia.
