Chris Hall, Grace McLean, and More to Star in Bedbugs!!! at ArcLight Theatre

The sci-fi rock musical comedy Bedbugs!!! is set to play at ArcLight Theatre from September 9-October 26 with an opening night set for September 14. The musical is created by composer Paul Leschen and book writer/lyricist Fred Sauter. Robert Bartley will direct and choreograph, with musical supervision by Deborah Hurwitz.

Bedbugs!!! follows Carly, an exterminator who is bent on avenging her mother's bedbug-related death. But instead, she accidentally mutates the pests into an army of blood-sucking, human-sized rock gods.

Leading the cast are Chris Hall as Cimex, Grace McLean as Carly, Nicholas Park as Burt, and Brian Charles Rooney as Dionne Salon. The cast also includes Danny Bolero, Tracey Conyer Lee, Barry Shafrin, Gretchen Wylder, Courtney Bassett, and Colin Scott Cahill.

The creative team includes costume design by Philip Heckman; scenic design by Adam Demerath; lighting design by Kirk Fitzgerald; sound design by Ed Chapman; wigs, hair, and makeup design by Bobbie Cliffton Zlotnik; and props design by Cameron Pate. Adam Roberts is the associate choreographer.
