The Carlyle hotel has announced the performers who will take the Café Carlyle stage as part of the fall 2014 season.

First, actors Jeff Goldblum, Molly Ringwald, and Rita Wilson will each make their venue debut. Goldblum, famed for his roles in Jurassic Park and Independence Day, will open the Café Carlyle fall season from September 16-20 with his jazz band, The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, with whom he performs regularly at Rockwell Table and Stage, in Los Angeles.

Rita Wilson, whose recent appearances include CBS’ The Good Wife and HBO’s Girls, released her debut album, AM/FM, in 2012. As she prepares to release her sophomore album in early 2015, Wilson will make her Carlyle debut from September 24-October 4.

Molly Ringwald, known for her roles in films such as Sixteen Candles and Pretty in Pink, is also a stage actress, writer, and jazz singer. She recently released her debut recording with Concord Records, Except Sometimes (2013), and will make her Carlyle debut in An Evening With Molly Ringwald from October 7-18.

Returning acts include New York Dolls founding member Buster Poindexter (October 21-25), husband-and-wife duo John Pizzarelli and Jessica Molaskey (October 28-November 22), and Steve Tyrell (November 25-December 31).

Woody Allen will continue to perform Monday nights with the Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band.
