International film star Orlando Bloom and two-time Tony Award nominee Condola Rashad introduced Broadway to David Leveaux’s upcoming revival of William Shakespeare’s
Romeo and Juliet — in which they star in the title roles — on Wednesday, August 7 in front of the
Richard Rodgers Theatre.
In the spirit of the contemporary production, Bloom arrived via motorcycle before being joined by Rashad to graffiti-tag the side door of their Broadway home in the style of the real-life “Juliet’s Wall” in Verona, Italy. The event was greeted by scores of photographers and fans who crowded West 46th Street to catch a glimpse of the attractive stars.
