Playwright Craig Wright (Grace) will bring The Pavilion to Sanguine Theatre Company, in a production at the Drilling Company for a series of performances August 8-10, 11, 15-17, and 18.

The Pavilion was produced off-Broadway in 2005 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater in a production that starred Stephen Bogardus, Jennifer Mudge, and Brian d’Arcy James, where Wright earned a Drama Desk nomination for Outstanding Play. The story follows Peter as he tries to win back his ex-girlfriend Kari at a 20-year high school reunion in Minnesota. The poignant and comic play explores first loves and tests the merit of the phrase “time heals all wounds.”

Jillian Robertson, artistic director of Sanguine Theatre Company, directs the three-person cast featuring Amber Bogdewiecz (Kari), Mitchell Conway (Peter), Tim Elliott (Narrator).
