In the performance, hard times (and the judge) caught up with Madea and she is forced to come out of retirement to go to work. Her unconventional job in a "nursing home" highlights an inevitable situation we must face - getting old.

Perry has written and appeared in numerous plays featuring Madea. Among the films that feature the popular character are Madea's Family Reunion and Madea Goes To Jail. He also directed the film For Colored Girls.
