Daldry, a board member of the organization, will be recognized for his work on the film Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close and for his support and commitment to the families of September 11 victims.

Tuesday's Children is a non-profit organization which provides support and services for the children of September 11 and others impacted by global terrorism.

Daldry won Tony Awards for his productions of Billy Elliot the Musical and An Inspector Calls. He directed the films Billy Elliot, The Hours, and The Reader.
