Rutanya Alda, Frank Gauthier, Allan Greenberg Set for Revival of Murder at the Howard Johnson’s

Rutanya Alda, Frank Gauthier, and Allan Greenberg will star in a revival of Ron Clark and Sam Bobrick’s Murder at the Howard Johnson’s, to begin previews on September 13 at Theatre Row’s Studio Theatre. Carter Pierce Gill, directs the play, which is presented by AG Productions.

In the comedy, set at a Howard Johnson Motor Inn in 1979, a dentist with desire to become a dashing hero conspires with a woman to murder her used car salesman-husband.

The original production of Murder at the Howard Johnson’s played Broadway’s John Golden Theatre in 1979 under the direction of Marshall W. Mason. The cast featured Bob Dishy, Tony Roberts, and Joyce Van Patten.
