Rufus Wainwright Now Married to Theater Producer Jorn Weisbrodt

Tony nominee Justin Vivian Bond conducted the wedding ceremony for singer and composer Rufus Wainwright and his longtime partner, theater producer Jorn Weisbrodt, in Montauk, Long Island on August 23, according to People.
The magazine’s website also reports that Wainwright’s sister, singer-songwriter Martha Wainwright, performed at the event, as did David Aron Carpenter and The Salome Chamber Orchestra.
Wainwright’s new opera, Prima Donna, was recently presented by New York City Opera at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. He has also composed a musical adaptation of Shakespeare Sonnets with director Robert Wilson.
His new CD, Out of the Game was released earlier this year, and his previous albums include Poses, Release the Stars, Rufus Does Judy At Carnegie Hall, and Songs For Lulu.
