Reg E. Cathey, Kathy Najimy, Annette O’Toole to Perform A.R. Gurney’s Heresy

Casting has been announced for the world premiere of A.R. Gurney‘s Heresy, to be presented at the Flea Theatre, Septemer 29 – November 4. Jim Simpson will direct.
Set in the near future, but with profound contemporary resonances, the play is, according to Gurney, “about what happens when Americans are told by their president to go shopping in the face of unspeakable terror.”
The cast will feature Reg E. Cathey, Tommy Crawford, Steve Mellor, Kathy Najimy, Annette O’Toole, Danny Rivera, and Ariel Woodiwiss.
The production will have set design by Kate Foster, lighting design by Brian Aldous, and costume design by Claudia Brown.
