On Monday, August 13, the Summer Shorts 2012 festival held a cocktail party to celebrate this year's works at the rooftop terrace at MOMA's Museum Tower. The series is being presented at 59E59 Theaters through September 1.

The festival includes works by Nancy Giles (The Accidental Pundette), Wendy Kesselman (Spit), Neil LaBute (The Furies), James McLure (Drive-In Dreams), Paul Rudnick (Cabin Pressure), as well as Sam Davis and Sean Hartley (Love and Real Estate). The productions have been split into two sections, Series A (July 26-August 29) and Series B (August 2-September 1).
