PHOTO FLASH: Off-Broadway’s Traces Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

The Off-Broadway production of 7 Fingers’ Traces celebrated its one-year anniversary at the Union Square Theatre on Thursday, August 9. The production continues at the venue through September 2 before embarking on a European and American tour.
Directed and choreographed by Shana Carroll and Gypsy Snider, the company features Mason Ames, Valérie Benôit-Charbonneau, Mathieu Cloutier, Bradley Henderson, Phillipe Normand-Jenny, Xia Zhengqi, and Florian Zumkehr with alternate cast members Antoine Auger, Jonathan Casabon, Genevieve Morin, Tarek Rammo and Philip Rosenberg.
Traces fuses the traditions of circus with the energy of street performance to create an explosive display of emotion and physicality set to the music of Radiohead, VAST, Blackalicious, and more.
The European tour will begin in Belgium on September 14, before heading to France and Denmark. The American tour, which will include stops in Tampa, Los Angeles, Dallas, and more, will take place in 2013.
